Cavoon

Trends in web design - from structure to styling - are constantly changing. Companies are always changing too, with new services and products. This was the problem faced by Swiss telecommunications provider Cavoon.

With a number of new services and business enhancements in the pipeline, Cavoon’s former website was starting to show its age and would soon be obsolete. So in 2011 we embarked on a complete redesign and modernization - including branding, online positioning, lead capturing and sections dedicated to each of Cavoon’s services.

New Europe Tours

Based in Germany, New Europe Tours is one of Europe’s largest city tour organizers. Our task was simple - to create a separate website for each of its destinations and to design a corporate site aimed at those seeking easy access to information on New Europe Tours as a company.

With distinctive red and white branding, we created destination pages that balance text with strong visuals and features, including maps, scrolling image banners, social media links, newsletter sign-up forms, enquiry buttons and thumbnails. Importantly, we provided a fully functioning blog that allows the client to add fresh new content on a regular basis - a powerful Inbound Marketing  tool.

IOGI

With IOGI, a Swiss provider of IT and technology services, an audit by us revealed a need for a website that was simpler to navigate and had more call-to-actions, all with a more visually appealing design approach.

IOGI has a wide range of IT, telecommunications and general technology services. An important move was the development of the custom-illustrated IOGI mascots. Our designer was able to take the IOGI branding and from it create fun characters. We also identified lead capture and nurturing opportunities, with email enquiry forms and the incentive of free audits giving IOGI a new channel through which to acquire qualified leads.

AlmaVerde

AlmaVerde Village & Spa, a sustainable community of more than 270 eco-friendly properties in the Algarve, Portugal, is one of our earliest large-scale clients and we’re proud of the relationship we’ve built with them over the years.

AlmaVerde has seen its holiday rental and long-term residency business grow since we implemented the first version of its website in 2009, and since then we’ve regularly updated it, at the client’s request, with the latest in digital trends to keep it fresh and working hard. We were also able to develop a flash-powered Site Plan, which integrated seamlessly with AlmaVerde’s database of villas and gave visitors a powerful, graphical tool for finding information on available properties.

Gorilla Golf Blog

The Gorilla Golf blog has a distinctive design based around a fun Gorilla character that we helped to define and create in 2010, giving a good starting point for the voice and style of the articles.

Our ongoing maintenance strategy includes the commissioning of copywriters to provide regular, well-informed and researched articles about golf; upload and optimization; a close working relationship with Gorilla Golf’s own communications team; plus a monetization plan with ads spaces and other revenue generating channels.

Schlössle Hotels

Baltic five-star hotelier Schlössle Hotels is renowned for its elegant boutique hotels, two of which are in Tallinn. We knew we had to resonate perfectly with Schlössle’s philosophy of elegant, understated luxury, while at the same time providing enough information about the features of its Tallinn properties, images and advanced sales functionality.

We were able to provide a booking form into the design, giving Schlössle an online sales channel in line with its competitors. Another important feature, common to both websites, are their dynamic image galleries - great for showing off rooms, dinning areas and other facilities in their finest.

Unique Hotels

As well as a main “corporate” page, Unique Hotels has four Estonian properties, plus a number of restaurants. We gave each its own URL and website with a common “Unique Hotels” aesthetic. Visitors are immediately met by a rotating image banner displaying attractive visuals, overlaid with a booking form and call-to-action button.

Other features of note include a blog maintained by us, newsletter sign-up forms providing special offers, translation into three languages and drop-down menus that display all that each hotel has to offer - from room types to spa treatments.

The current website, also designed by us, is undergoing a redesign and adaptation to keep it fresh and modern to match new trends in web design and structure. Our clients’ businesses are constantly changing, so we always recommend regular design reviews.

Residence3

Residence3’s website has a strong visual focus, with minimal text and large, rotating banner images showcasing the Swiss developer’s beautiful, high value properties. As the product is design-focused, in this case a portfolio of luxurious properties, so too is the website. We let the images speak for themselves and built the website around that philosophy.

The menu bar is at the bottom of the page, and in the case of the gallery, users are able to navigate to the previous and next images simply by hovering their mouse cursor either over the left or right halves of the screen - an innovative touch.

Clayhills GastroPub

Clayhills in the heart of the Estonian capital Tallinn is a popular, upscale gastropub with strong Art Deco design principles that mirrored and communicated through the website.

Visitors to the homepage are immediately met by a distinctive illustration commissioned by us, portraying Clayhills in a modern yet nostalgic way and characterized by the young couple in love, two gentleman chatting and the aristocratic couple in the foreground. We also helped Clayhills to develop a unique corporate identity and logo.

Essay Group

New Jersey-based Essay Group needed a website to showcase its range of sustainable-living products. The company has strong ties to Estonia and its craftsmen, a country which resonates well with Essay Group’s nature ethos.

This simple website performs all the tasks required - information, identity, brand communication, contact information and product showcasing. Visitors to the website immediately understand that this company provides ecological products in tune with nature.

Study Russian

Study Russian, based in Switzerland, organize language study tours to Russia that give a fully immersive approach to learning Russian.

The website is straightforward in its function, providing information on the types of study tour available, the destinations and length of study, and how to get in touch.

Explinovo

We gave this German embedded system engineering company a distinctive, futuristic website to match its business operations within an hi-tech industry. The website as a whole matches the logo and branding, and provides a portal through which visitors can find out more information and get in touch.

We also gave Explinovo a full-feature Wordpress blog to maintain itself, with Social Media integration, categories and archiving. With constantly updated content, blogs are a great Inbound Marketing tool which we encourage all our clients to have.

Atelier 3 Petits Points

Atelier 3 Petits Points, a Swiss organizer of parent and children workshops, had a modest budget which we were able to make the most.

Thanks to our flexible approach, we can cater for clients with a range of budgets. The result - a simple website with an open, honest and creative aesthetic, that showcases the available courses with strong visual elements and branding.

Laurenb Clothing

Laurenb, a clothing design boutique in New Jersey, commissioned us to develop a dynamic website to promote its clothing lines, increase awareness of its shop and stimulate sales through online promotions.

With a CMS, the client has full control in modifying content and keeping the website relevant with new online sales initiatives. Versio2 also assisted the client in using offline marketing to drive traffic to the website.

IOGI

Part of a PPC (Pay Per Click) campaign, the emphasis here was simple, effective communication with strong lead capturing. The enquiry form was incentivized with the offer of a free audit, carefully worded to only attract qualified leads. Two versions of this landing page were created to allow for A/B (split) testing, allowing us to optimize the graphics, text and call-to-actions.

Cavoon

The aim of this landing page was to encourage registration for Cavoon Access, its alternative to calling cards. We used a strong, attention-grabbing title announcing a 98% saving when placing long distance calls, with minimal text to follow. A simple registration form at the end was finished off with a prominent “Sign Up” button. We also included rates and custom illustrations to provide comprehensive information.

Unique Hotels

This simple landing page was part of a Christmas offer campaign targeting the Russian market. We used strong call-to-actions and copy to make Unique Hotels’ special Christmas offers even more attractive, encouraging visitors to fill in the enquiry form provided, thereby generating leads. We provided the content in English and the translation into Russian, and multiple versions were created for A/B (split) testing.

NavTrack

For NavTrack we designed a landing page showcasing the latest version of its satellite navigation app for BlackBerrys. The landing page built on the branding we developed, and included strong call-to-actions.

Nacka Kommun

The Swedish municipality of Nacka Kommun needed a branded presence on Facebook to encourage audience interaction and provide contact information. Simple Fan and Group pages such as this are a great way to engage with growing social networks such as Facebook. Nacka Kommun is able to administer the page itself, sending out regular updates on everything that’s going on in the area.

IOGI

We designed a branded Facebook page for Swiss technology services provider IOGI, to showcase its services and encourage ‘Likes’ and member interaction. Clicking on the ‘Like’ button reveals a blog, videos and other “bonus” material, thereby incentivizing new fans and leads.

Unique Hotels Estonia

The Unique Hotels Estonia “Book Your Room” Facebook page features a custom booking form showing room availability, with a background that blends perfectly with the custom banner for a clever, branded effect. Below the form are showcased Unique Hotels’ special offers with attractive images. At the bottom of the page we see narrow “thumbnails” linking to the websites of all four Estonian properties. The overall design makes the most of the small space.
